Lord,
First off i want to say thank you. thank you thank you thank you, for everything that you have done for me. I am so far beyond blessed, when in all reality I don’t deserve to be at all, I thank you for that. Also I want start by saying I am so sorry! God, i was sitting in church last night listening to you speak through Bro. Charlie, and when he asked “how many people think of Jesus as an inconvenience” i kind of scoffed in my mind, thinking who would ever think of you an inconvenience???? really you who died for us….an inconvenience??? then as Bro Charlie went on…I slowly realized that you were talking to me. Directly to me. In fact I don’t know if anybody else got anything out of that sermon last night Lord because I feel like it was prepared exactly for me. God, I have been so distant from you lately and I don’t even have an excuse, it was just because. In fact for some of the things I have been doing I even justified in my head with my favorite verse….WHAT??? how have i been so blind? While I love Romans 8:38-39 and I will always find comfort in the fact that Lord, nothing can separate me from you….I think it is time for me to switch it up a little, to a verse that is going to motivate me. One that is going to push me to do YOUR will Lord and not mine. Lord, use me! use me for whatever it is that you have planned! I know I have been putting you second and as much as i hate to say it…even third/fourth!I have been so selfish and I want nothing more than for you to look down on me and say yes that is my daughter and she is doing my will. I love her and I am proud of her. So Lord, with that i just ask you to help me grow in you, because you are worthy! In fact you are the only thing that is worthy. Again thank you for loving me at my worst! God there is no one like you!
